I've been writing as long as I can rember.  I've worked in buying, marketing, event planning, and public relations since I was a kid. My first job was managing birthday parties for the local children's theatre when I was in high school. But I don't think you really want to go that far back, so I have listed my last three employers under Work Experience with a quick synopsis of other positions I have held.

 

I have moved people, products, and multiple parts of an ad campaign from many a point A to point B, on time and as requested. 


I have written copy (print ads, brochures, radio and television, promotions), press releases, blogs, websites, magazine articles, newspaper special sections, newsletters, manuals, proposals, marketing plans, brand analysis, grants and two plays. I have done research and editing. I can take a pretty decent photograph.

 

My interests are varied. Some examples are business (especially advertising and marketing), education (familiar with current hot topics), self-help/psychology, fashion, food, the arts, books, home decorating/interior design, health, history and travel.

At Keele Graphics, I created their traffic management system and did press checks. I was traffic manager, an account manager, and part of an ADDY winning creative team at Davis & Assoiciates Marketing Communications. Previous to Davis, I worked for eight and a half years for Dillards Department Stores as a buyer and sales manager.
